Insurance
Some insurance plans cover psychological services for medically necessary care. If you are unsure about what coverage you have, call your insurance company to inquire if your plan covers outpatient mental health care provided by a licensed psychologist. You will also need to determine if I am a covered provider with your insurance company in order for them to pay the claim.
If your insurance company determines that I am not a covered provider and refuses to pay the claim, you are then responsible for payment for services. In most instances I will provide courtesy billing directly to your insurance company.
Most insurance companies require a statement of the type of services provided and a diagnosis. Some require more detailed information such as progress notes or treatment summaries.

If I am not a provider for your insurance or you choose not to use insurance, please contact me for a cost estimate.
Appointments & Cancellations
I see clients only by appointment. Emergency appointments can be scheduled if needed. Sessions are 45 to 60 minutes. Please call at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel a session.
You will be charged a $150 fee for skipped appointments and appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
